THE PLOT AT A GLANCE-

“Of course you know about the seven stages of love, but have you ever lived them?” Atharva Rathod and Meher Qasim. Lovebirds since adolescence. Bonded by love, separated by circumstances. They part ways only to meet again. But this time, he is on a secret mission… Are they in control of their own destiny, or its their destiny which is making them dance to its tunes? Only time would answer, as Atharva and Meher unwillingly and unknowingly transcend the seven stages of love. A quintessential tale of love and romance marked beautifully by its own rustic old school charm.

                                                THE  TITLE:

So, to begin with, what are the seven stages of love?dilkashi (attraction), uns (attachment), mohobbat (love), akidat (trust), ibadat (worship), junoo (madness) followed by maut (death). The title is beautifully crafted keeping in mind the aspect of attachment. thought is harmless unless we believe it. It’s not our thoughts, but our attachment to our thoughts, that causes suffering. Attaching to a thought means believing that it’s true, without inquiring. A belief is a thought that we’ve been attaching to, often for years. The author beautifully captivates us with his creation that Falling in love is easy. Falling in love with the same person repeatedly is extraordinary.
REVIEW OF THE BOOK:

Atharva and Meher gets twisted and entangled in their destiny.Falling in love is like getting hit by a truck and yet not being mortally wounded. just sick to your stomach, high one minute, low the next. Starving hungry but unable to eat. hot, cold, forever horny, full of hope and enthusiasm, with momentary depressions that wipe you out. The story was sliding like a film, every instance taking twists and turns. -What we call our destiny is truly our character and that character can be altered. The knowledge that we are responsible for our actions and attitudes does not need to be discouraging, because it also means that we are free to change this destiny. One is not in bondage to the past, which has shaped our feelings, to race, inheritance, background. All this can be altered if we have the courage to examine how it formed us. We can alter the chemistry provided we have the courage to dissect the elements. The story is primarily dividied into three sections, and every section has its own charm. And Everytime attachment plays a very important role. It’s more like you meet someone, and you fall in love, and you hope that that person is the one—and then at some point, you have to put down your chips. You just have to make a commitment and hope that you’re right. I loved the way both the characters of the story were potrayed. The journey of love starting from their adolescence till when they grew up was amazing and very sweetly potrayed. And the descriptions which were mentioned when they meet finally was filled with emotions. Most people know the sheer wonder that goes with falling in love, how not only does everything in heaven and earth become new, but the lover himself becomes new. It is literally like the sap rising in the tree, putting forth new green shoots of life.

WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK

VERY INTERESTING AND A TRENDING THEME.

BEAUTIFUL CHARECTERISATION OF BOTH ATHARVA AND MEHER.

A true and a very appropriate genre selection with regards to the current worldwide scenario.
Drawbacks (believe me, the negative points are negligible if you compare to the positive aspects)

The blurb could have been made more interesting and a bit elaborative.
The cover and illustration are very common. Maybe it could have been made more unique and attractive.

Takeaways:

A great piece of story weaved with emotions throughout.

Falling in love is a wonderfully terrifying sensation.”
