What is the book all about?

i told him every time you kiss me leave a word in my mouth conundrum. elison. stay. foofaraw. shoal. freyja. With me/ Otherwise is all about the intricate design of human relationships. The poems hold a reticent astonishment at facts that occur around the world and transcribe them into emotional entropy. The romance of emotional weight and the linear projections of them make up for the major theme. Often swinging with images, questions and compulsions, the poems halt with sudden references to observations, surrealism, rituals and desire.

Someone had said that poetry is one of the finest ways of expressing emotions. “WITH ME/OTHERWISE” vividly describes and proves the above point. Human relationships are not simple.Beacuse “Don’t be surprised when you see people you thought you knew act weirdly. People change. We change. Even the world change.”

We sometimes love the ugliest thing even though without our knowledge that the thing is ugly. The lines “but I love it, like I have loved most ugly things in my life” in the poem Thursday perfectly elaborates it. There are several poems which projects the emotion revolving around contrast. The way individuals live together. The truth of each individual is only the truth of his own narrow perspective. The entirety of mankind and of human qualities is always seen through a prism, where its colours are broken. Observation is so utterly different from experience; there is no hope of fusing their contradictions, as the I and the not-I have been foes from the world’s beginning.

Outside the window is another of my favourites. ” you left yourself behind I had seen a picture of me on you”. We love to rush without even seeing what we have left before. Human emotions are just like a window. It only expresses itself when we open the window.

“If I have something to share, however, I didn’t share it with you because you didn’t ask me. It means I DON’T TRUST YOU.  The author along with her creativity and her creations has beautifully weaved what emotion is all about. Even if you didn’t ask me, I still shared it with you, giving my trust to you. However, you shared it with the entire world. It means YOU ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY.  I know what you know, however, when I asked you, you lied to me. It means YOU ARE DISHONEST. LOVE and AFFECTION are two essential elements of HUMAN RELATIONSHIP. However, whether you deserve my LOVE and AFFECTION or not is based on your TRUSTWORTHINESS and HONESTY.”

Overall I would like to rate the book 41 on a scale of 50.
