Arjun is an incredibly nice guy who believes in true love and is waiting for it with open arms. He falls in love, not once or twice, but thrice. And every single time, happiness – like the girls he fell for – comes very close to him before pushing him away. His only pillar of strength in all his moments of grief and dejection is his childhood friend Anjali. Dejected by the games played by girls and fate, he leaves Hyderabad for Bangalore and ends up meeting Krish, an irresistible flirt. He understands Arjun’s predicament, pacifies him with his words and enlightens him about the most complicated species ever created by God – Women. And then, Arjun’s life changes forever. Will Arjun find the one he has been waiting for, or will he end up becoming a flirt? Will he ever taste lasting happiness? Join Arjun as he tries to figure out women and discovers the meaning of love, lust and life… All in his journey of Finding Juliet.

Indeed Finding Juliet is a very interesting and appropriate title for the book. But before reading the book, I wondered why Juliet when there are no characters’ in the plot named Juliet. But as we know every hidden mystery has a clue to it, remember Shakespeare’s Juliet?

Shakespeare’s Juliet is a headstrong and intelligent character in spite of her young age, though she often seems timid to the audience because of her young age. She is considered by many to be the true hero of the play, acting as a sounding board and a balance against the impulsive Romeo. It is Juliet who sets the boundaries of behaviour in her relationship with Romeo: she allows him to kiss her, she pledges her commitment before him, and it is she who suggests their marriage. Juliet’s forgiveness of Romeo after he kills Tybalt indicates her mature nature in contrast to his passionate impulsiveness. Furthermore, Juliet lies and clandestinely subverts her family’s wishes, a truly rebellious action against traditional Italian society. These actions and the choices they require establish Juliet as a far more complex character than her family, or even Romeo, appreciate

That’s it. We always love to have a life partner who is a replica of Juliet-Strong yet romantic. We always want someone who is mature yet dwells in her childhood. We always want to find someone like Juliet.
Let’s begin with a question. How many times have you been rejected by someone you love? Arjun in our story is a gentle, sweet and decent guy who believes in true love. Yet he gets rejected by Aditi, Shraddha and Sakshi. Even Arjun doesn’t understands why every time he gets rejected despite loving them so much.

For instance in case of Shradhha,”Each day, i waited for the evening to meet her again. The best part of all this was we never ran out of things to talk about.”To this contrast we find, “A few days after she said yes to the guy, the frequency of messages and calls between us deceased.”

But a series of events starting from the bomb blast till meeting Krish in Bangalore changed Arjun forever.

From gentle, sweet and decent he turns into an arrogant, geek and nerd. From a simple boy he was metamorphosised into a lyricist. The boy who had no girls following him, had girls lined after him. Fame and highlights prospered around him. But still he didn’t find the clue for the love puzzle. Instead he found the clue for the Lust puzzle.

Can Arjun find someone like Juliet?

Or to find someone like Juliet, we have to change ourselves?

Finding Juliet is a journey, which will enlighten you on what is true love. Not only It will show you how to find your Juliet, it will answer the question,” what women actually wants from their lovers”
