Shikha Kauls fiction HIDDEN HUSBAND puts you into a pool of secrets, thrills and mystery from where you cant come out even if you turn over the last page of the book. The tangling words it was 12:13 pm dips you into the world of secrets which keeps pinching you as it is said , SOME SECRETS NEVER LEAVE YOU.

The prologue of the story begins very ordinarily with Aisha who is desperate in maintaining her competing and racing life along with her entangled relationships. The story begins with, It had become a perfunctionary fashion for me to stretch the hours of at office. The story takes a turn when the author introduces Raghav with a taste of enthrallment, Hi Raghav. I am Aisha. Can I see your CV please?

Soon they start working together and fall in love. Here the author portrays the typical Indian family where even we fall in love our family doesnt accepts it. And to us family and relationship both matters equally. So what to do?

Though Alisha manages to convince her family but the problem still prevailed with Raghavs family. They tried everything but ultimately or rather SECRECTLY decided to marry each other.

The readers must be thinking so this is why the book is named HIDDEN HUSBAND. But no, something still waits for Aisha from his husbands side. Something which is tragic and dark.

Aishas husband discloses his secrets in front of the gloomy society that will never leave you.

It was a mind blowing plot and very well crafted. From the very beginning till the end it will keep your sense tickling.

But I felt a bit disappointed with the character and the way of screen playing Raghav in the novel. He was such a major thrilling element of the plot and yet he had a very less part to play in the novel as compared to Aisha. May be because he is kept hidden as the title of the book suggests(
